The certificates contain a vignette of the Rotunda and lawn, a quotation from Cicero, a portrait of Jefferson and the signatures of Charles P. Jones, Rector, Edwin A. Alderman, President of the University, and Thomas Nelson Page, President of the General Alumni Association.
